Village Route Six – North Paphos and Akamas

CSTI completed another village route—the 6th in the Discover the Real Cyprus series of routes.

The North Paphos and Akamas route takes the visitor to some of the most popular villages in the area.

With this guide you can discover the real Cyprus, taking a trip from the coast to the heart of the island.

The guide will help you explore easily and includes a visit to the magnificent Avakas Gorge, as well as the beautiful beaches of Akamas Peninsula. Take a day tour to Lara beach and then dine to one of the traditional tavernas in Laona plateu were the true essence of the local cuisine still beats.

Experience the gentle and genuine warmth of the local people. Don’t hesitate to stop in one of the many wineries of the area and try the local varieties. Discover the hidden medieval churches.

Away from the beaches, you will find places unchanged for generations, where traditional life goes on in vineyards, olive groves and farms. Here you will find breathtaking landscapes, historic monuments, excellent local produce and the famously warm Cypriot welcome.
